Our Founders

Susan Watson and Michelle Rooks formed the non-profit, Daughters Against Alzheimer’s, and launched their signature event, Battle for the Brain –A Lip Sync Competition, in the Fall of 2017.  With a goal of raising $10 Million for research toward AD by the year 2025, Daughters Against Alzheimer’s is on track to succeed all while creating an opportunity to have some fun, help remove the stigma often associated with AD, and create an unprecedented awareness of the reality our society faces in the years to come. We are confident that this awareness will help bring the funds necessary to find prevention and effective treatment for millions of people. Together, we will all make a difference.
